Introduction

Water-based lubricants are safe and widely accepted by users because they feel natural and non-sticky, though they need more frequent reapplication as they tend to be felling to become watery.

Composition:

  • Water - Main ingredients - Provide base fluid

  • Thickeners (Glycerin, Hydroxyethyl cellulose, Propylene glycol) - Give texture and viscosity

  • pH Adjusters - Citric acid or sodium hydroxide to match body’s natural pH (Normal Veginal pH - 3.5 - 4.5)

  • Texture: Smooth and non-sticky (though high-glycerin formulas may feel tacky when dry)

  • Duration: Short to moderate, requiring reapplication as it evaporates
